Febelfin labelled Alfred Berg products – Towards Sustainability

Towards Sustainability 2019Alfred Berg has since many years taken ESG factors into consideration in our investing on behalf of our clients. Going forward many funds in the market will comply with certain certifications, mainly due to client demand. Clients demand this to ensure that the funds they invest in really take the ESG factor considerations they claim.

The following two funds that we manage have recently obtained the Sustainable and Socially Responsible financial products label label of Febelfin, the Belgian FSA:

The name of the label is “Towards Sustainability” and it is granted for one year at the time.

This is a label that has rather strict requirements, more can be found here:

The requirements will evolve over time and will probably be more demanding as time passes.

For the above mentioned funds, their specific “Towards Sustainability” profile can be found here:

The fund Alfred Berg Nordic Investment Grade is indirectly also labelled as it is the master of the feeder fund Parworld Bond Nordic Investment Grade, and hence the vehicle that has passed the labeling process and audit. We will ensure the fund also gets its own “Towards Sustainability” label from Febelfin.

In our Sustainable and Responsible Investment (SRI) approach, we are strengthened by the processes and research of our mother company, BNP Paribas Asset Management, that is among the leaders in the Socially Responsible Investment area.
