STRATEGY

Alfred Berg Income is an actively managed fixed income fund that focuses on investments in corporate bonds in the Nordic fixed income markets. The fund is a cross-over product, meaning that it invests in investment grade as well as high yield bonds, with a bond credit rating equivalent to B or higher. The Nordic Fixed income market offers bond exposure to a wide type of small to large companies with long traditions, and typical sectors that are represented in our universe in the Nordics include industrials, telecom, utilities, real estate, financials and energy. The assets of the fund may be invested in money market instruments issued by corporates, including financial institutions, but also municipalities, mortgage institutions, governments, etc. At least 50% of the fund should be invested in instruments from issuers in the Nordics. The fund’s assets will be invested with the goal to achieve good risk-adjusted returns. The fund risk should be balanced by holding a portfolio with a well-diversified sector and country split. Investments are not tied to a predefined average duration, and duration can vary over time but will remain below two years at all times. All investments in Alfred Berg Income are hedged to Norwegian Krone.
